TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

At our bakery in Ponsonby, Auckland, we pride ourselves on creating the most moist, flavour-packed cakes, baked with the finest ingredients — including free-range eggs, premium chocolate, and, of course, a whole lot of love.

Each of our cakes is unique and handmade, which means no two are exactly the same. As a result, the size, decorations, and icing textures may vary slightly — please use our image gallery as a general guide.

While we take great care in preparing our delicious products, they are made in an environment where nuts, wheat, gluten, dairy, and other allergens are present. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.

Lastly, any orders or inquiries received outside of our office hours will be responded to within 24 hours on the next working day.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:

Ordering, Delivery, and Refund Policies for Cakes and Treats

Please be aware that our preparation process involves ordering ingredients, creating parts of your product in advance, and expending labour. Additionally, we incur fees from our online platform, payment processing software, and administrative services. Our booking calendar operates on a first-come, first-served basis based on deposit or invoice payment, not the receipt of the invoice. We are always here to offer advice on cake designs, flavours, and icing types. However, please keep in mind that the final choice is yours, and individual taste preferences can vary, which may influence your overall experience.

Bespoke Cakes: To secure your booking for a bespoke cake, full payment of the invoice is required. In the event of cancellation, since production time has been allocated that could have been offered to another customer, we cannot issue a cash refund.

Although we do not issue refunds we are more than happy to postpone your order or offer store credit.

If you choose to cancel your order for any reason, including personal circumstances or change of mind, cash refunds will not be issued.

Store Credit / Postponement

If notice of cancellation is received at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled pickup/delivery, we will offer:

A postponement of your order, or

A store credit for the full amount paid
Store credit is valid for 12 months and may be used by you or transferred to another person.

Less Than 72 Hours’ Notice

For cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice, no credit or postponement will be offered, as production and scheduling time has already been allocated.

COLLECTION

Customers are responsible for collecting orders at the agreed time. Uncollected orders will be held in our fridge till the next day however incases of abandoned order they will not be refunded.

STANDARD BAKERY ORDERS (NON-BESPOKE)

For items purchased online from our standard bakery menu:

Changes or cancellations may be requested up to 72 hours before the pickup/delivery time.

Inside 72 hours, standard orders are non-refundable, as preparation has already begun.

REFUNDS FOR CHANGE OF MIND

We do not offer refunds for change of mind on any orders.

REFUNDS FOR PRODUCT ISSUES

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours with the cake and its packaging available for assessment.
We will review the situation and may offer a replacement, partial credit, or alternative resolution at our discretion.

Refunds are not provided for:

Personal taste preferences

Damage after pickup

Incorrect storage or transport

Allergies not disclosed at the time of ordering

Variations in colour, decoration, or finish due to the handmade nature of our products
